The optimization of brewery by-products drying process has started today

Today, 1st of March, the optimization of the drying process for brewery yeast has started at the Riera Nadeu facilities in Granollers (Barcelona). These first tests will allow adjusting the main parameters of the drying process, as well as obtaining the first ingredients prototypes from brewery by-products. Additionally, these tests will help to define the best operation conditions for reducing as much as possible the by-products’ humidity (< 10%) with the maximum energy efficiency and the lowest environmental impact.
