THE LIFE BREWERY Project has been selected within the sustainability initiatives for the beer sector.
Brewers of Europe is an association that aims for the beer production sector to have a positive impact on society, people and the planet. For many years it has promoted sustainable practices in brewing processes, supply chains, and in how beer is consumed and enjoyed.
For this reason, Brewers of Europe has been working to integrate the sector into the European circular economy, with the objectives of the new European Green Deal, by improving the use of water, energy, transport and packaging. In doing so, this sector is committed to reducing CO2 emissions, waste and providing the reuse of by-products through innovative processes and solutions in partnership with others.
Among other actions, Brewers of Europe promotes the sustainability of the sector by showing other examples of innovative initiatives that inspire other members of the sector.
