Pilot and semi-industrial scale trials to obtain hydrolysed yeast as aqua-feed ingredient are completed

Last week, pilot and semi-industrial scale tests for obtaining hydrolysed yeast as aqua-feed ingredient were completed. These tests began last July and around 6 tons of raw yeast have already been processed so far. The development of this ingredient has been carried out under the recommendations given by aquaculture companies with the aim of increasing the digestibility of the ingredient and, therefore, the commercial value of the final developed aqua-feed prototypes. In the forthcoming months, a similar hydrolysis process will be carried out with spent grain with the same objectives.
